Just the other day, I was browsing the Internet and thought I’d look for some cute jewelry! My quest for cuteness led me to the ultimate source for hand-crafted goodies, Etsy.com! If you’ve never heard of Etsy, it’s a website where users can set up their own online shop for their handmade creations. Products can vary from clothing, accessories, furniture, home decor, toys, and, of course… jewelry! Here are some of my favorite cute Etsy shops!

The Tiny Fig

A shop for T-Shirts, earrings, necklaces, and stationary all featuring adorable characters!

Jackie’s Wishlist: French Toast Post Earrings

illi

Handmade jewelry with adorable, food-related characters like cookies, onigiri, and sushi!

Jackie’s Wishlist: Sushi Girl Earrings

marymary

I have no idea how she does this, but marymary makes the coolest silver pendants ever!

Jackie’s Wishlist: Baby Sloth Necklace

And a here’s a bonus shop! She’s not on Etsy, but her products are cute nonetheless!

Ku-Ki Shop

Most of her products are handmade with polymer clay and her attention to detail is amazing!

Jackie’s Wishlist: Fresh Fruit Studs

NOTE: I do not own any of these images! All images used belong to their respective owners.

Shhhhh… Listen. It’s quiet.

Why? Because it’s summer and no one blogs anymore! Unfortunately, that includes me. I’ve just been soooo busy going out and I just never have time for the computer anymore!

NOT! Pssh. I WISH I had a life. In all honesty, I really just don’t have much to talk about. (See previous sentence.) But I’m gonna work really hard to get some more posts in because I really don’t want my blog to die. I’m actually really proud of how long this has lasted. I’m notorious for starting websites and then killing them in a matter of weeks.

Anyway, here’s a quick run-down of what I’ve been up to since summer began:

  1. Summer courses I’m currently taking two online classes and one class at the local Public Safety Academy. It’s been pretty good so far. However, one of my classes, Intro to Microcomputers, has been driving me up the wall with its sheer ridiculousness! I’ll probably blog about it. I’ll try, at least. It really is too stupid for words.
  2. Volunteering Remember when I blogged about volunteering at the Botanical Conservatory? Yeah. It didn’t turn out the way I planned. Don’t get the wrong idea though. The few times I was there was really pleasant and everyone was very nice and welcoming, but I just don’t feel like I belong there. Furthermore, it’s really far from my house (it’s pretty much on the other side of town) and they have enough volunteers to get by without a hitch, so I’m not really needed anyway.
  3. Just chillin’ In the rest of my time, I’ve just been enjoying summer! Occasionally I’ll go hang with Jamie at her summer job at a swimming pool. When I’m at home, I’m usually surfing da interwebs, learning new songs on my guitar, PWNing in video games, ringing up my boyfriend, Mik, and… sleeping. Lots of sleeping.

That’s all for now and hopefully more to come! Later!
